Train to anywhere – departing London on track 1

I absolutely love these European train stations! What’s not to like about them? Not sure if its the many architectural details, the cacophony of smells, the feeling of excitement in the air as travelers rush about, that fact that I am usually either arriving in a new destination or about to depart off into an unknown one, or just a delicious mixture of all of that. What ever it is, its quite intoxicating. One day I’d love to hope from station to station throughout Europe on a sort of “spin the globe” or “roll the dice and choose a track” kinda journey. No itinerary, no plan, ….. just one bag and an open agenda. Sounds good don’t ya think?
