“Religion is like language or dress. We gravitate toward the practices with which we were raised. In the end, though we are all proclaiming the same thing. That life has meaning. That we are grateful for that created us.” – Dan Brown / Angels and Demons
I’ve always felt that the spiritual journey is a personal one. A life long search for the divinity in you and in all things. Far be it the depth of this bloggers thoughts at this late evening to bumble on about religion, but I do love this quote I found posted the other day.
I have always found the cathedrals in Europe fascinating. When photographing these, and bracketing for HDR, a tripod is a must. A challenge of course in the over touristed and over policed cathedrals in Paris, Milan, and London. You can imagine my delight when I found this one in a little wine village called Buenne. A couple of hours outside of Paris, this beauty had not a tourist in sight. Looks even more majestic than I remember it!
