A journey into a sea of birch

On a recent photography workshop I attended, my goal was to break away from the types of HDR images I normally like to play with. As creatives, we all need to stretch ourselves, experiment, and make playful mistakes….and this workshop was a great place for just that. More on that experience over the next few weeks as I’ve got quite a pile of images to work on!

I had seen this type of effect used before and made a few clicks as I wandered thru the woods. I kind of like the “painterly” effect that’s achieved when dragging the shutter as you move the camera. Not an epic image I agree, but I still like it 🙂
