A Misty Autumn Morning in Maine and some self assignment ideas for your creativity

“To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.” – Osho

So first, a real quick note….

I get asked all the time if I sell prints of my work. I do actually. I don’t talk about it much, but there is a link up on the top menu of the blog as well as a link over in the side bar and while I am at it, I’ll put a link right here!

I am still working out the layout and pricing, but there is kinda of a cheaper default pricing layout on there for now. If you are looking for prints, now might be a good time to check it out as I plan on narrowing down the options and cleaning up the galleries when I get a chance. Smug-mug’s new version is a little different and I really need to take the time to clean up a few things, but for now….feel free to explore!

My strategy for the most part going forward is going to be to link each image if clicked to the gallery there for purchase or to see larger. Its a bit of a workflow change, but once I get it smoothed out, Ill share that in a video 🙂  And thanks by the way for all the views and support! Lots more to come so make sure and stay tuned!

The Daily Image – Misty Autumn Morning in Maine

An ongoing story continues from a workshop in Maine. I’ve blogged about it here and here. In a effort to “self challenge” myself while on a workshop in Maine last year, in between multi exposure brackets for future HDR images, I was constantly surveying the landscape with a 3rd eye. At this location (like the others in the workshop), I again wanted to create a cool HDR the captured the escence of the location as well as a composite piece that was more of an impressionistic collage in a conpletely different style. Its fun to challange yourself from time to time! I can honestly say that from my photographic vision (although I might not share it here on the blog that much) was deeply effected from just that one workshop.
