“You will never “find” time for anything. If you want time, you must make it.” – Charles Bruxton
So to start mixing it up a little here, or to keep this blogging momentum going, I am thinking about doing a few things. For one, I am thinking about getting back to more of a structure like I was doing a couple of years ago. I had little gimmicky names for days of the week like “TimeLapse Tuesday” and “Son et Lumaire” Sunday. It wasn’t about the names as much as the structure it gave my posts and the direction of my thought process for thinking about the content during the day I was going to release.
Not sure why I drifted from that. Guess deep down I kinda fight structure, scheduling, and normalicy in my life…even though it is what is required for creative success in a way. Incidentally, I really do like posting these at night. Its like a little wrap-up to the day, candles burning, green tea at my side, zen living kinda thing. It’s my time, and of course, my gift to you 🙂
Like I said, I have a few ideas, but I am always open to suggestions as well 🙂
The Daily Image – The Explosion of Color Before Dinner
We had just arrived to dinner after dodging a few raindrops on our golf cart (I know, sounds a little pretentious) when the Captiva sky opened up. Would have been an amazing time-lapse from these docks I bet, but at least we had a cool view from our second floor table. I took this seconds before we lost the light for the night. After dinner, a front row seat of the lighting storm on the other side of the restaurant. Beach side on the golf cart of course. Perfect 🙂
A “Social Media” friend had posted a link this this on my feed today. Its a great piece of art created from that side of the state. Enjoy it, its pretty amazing!
