A preview of Lightroom’s Print Module with a few Black and Whites from Paris

“Travel brings power and love back into your life.” -Mawlana Jalal-al-Din-Rumi

And could there be a better way than traveling to France might I add!

So again, trying to get back on point here with the blog. It’s been a busy season with my team at Hylite as we “Painted with Light” but just like clockwork, the spring and summer travel season is right around the corner. As the flocks of snow birds start to ruffle their feathers and make plans to escape this tropical climate for the summer, I of course start to do the same.

Its looking like Paris is going to once again be one of those destinations this year, at least as a hub. Gonna try a different approach this time, but more on that in another post.

While going through a few from the archives the other day, I started playing around with Lightroom’s print and picture package module again to get a few collages going. I’ll share a few tips on a video soon, but till then, here are a couple that I kinda like!

This one below was a from a template that Matt K created that I downloaded a while ago from his site at Lightroom Killer Tips. I could have spent a little more time on tweaking the layout and order but it was originally created for a quick share on Instagram. Not epic, but it tells a quick story …….. I guess.

Paris

The next one here is a refinement of another template I had to kind of play off of the 3 vertical look. I like these odd counts of images as apposed to an event number. Not sure why, but it feels better.

3 wide

And again, the same concept, but with horizontals. The City of Light at Night…..

3 high

I know, kind of a lame post, but just dusting off the cobwebs after a short blog hiatus!

Well, gotta run again…

Short trip to the Big Apple in the AM!

As always, more to come!
