“Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life – and travel – leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks – on your body or on your heart – are beautiful. Often, though, they hurt. It’s a rush of fragments, all jostling for attention. Some good, some bad, some pleasurable – and some excruciating to remember.” -Anthony Bourdain in The Nasty Bits: Collected Varietal Cuts, Usable Trim, Scraps, and Bones
Shanghai…a place I hope to get back to someday!
I captured this set of images in hopes of creating a panorama someday and 4 years later, here we go. I decided to dive into the archives from Shanghai after I noticed that an online mentor of mine was traveling the area recently. I am sure the city has evolved quite a bit since I was there ….. not too much though I hope.
And for Tuesdays Quick Tip……
I’m emptying a few memory cards from a long day capturing a very cold location this week, so I figured I would share a quick tip about backing up those image imports! (did I mention it was cold where I am?)
More on that soon….
Till then…..
