“Autumn asks that we prepare for the future —that we be wise in the ways of garnering and keeping. But it also asks that we learn to let go—to acknowledge the beauty of sparseness.” ~Bonaro W. Overstreet
I must admit that living in South Florida has its perks, but I do miss one thing…..the changing of the seasons. A change of season for us is a drop from the balmy temps of about 90 degrees to a bone chilling mid 70. Not complaining mind you (especially for you peeps up in the North East tundra about now), but it is definitely a good reason for this adventurer to pack up every now and then and chase the weather. On this trip thru New England, I timed it just before the peak colors were about to explode into the beautiful landscape. Guess there is always next fall 🙂

a damn good photo, well done
Stunning masterpiece.
Agree with the comment on the weather – in Singapore it is literally the same every day. Hot, humid and a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon! I do miss having a winter / autumn / spring.
Nice shot – how many exposures is this taken with?
Love the low angle here and the use of colors to really at impact of this image. The shutter speed is spot on and really adds to the mood of the image.
fabulous shot, great colors. I assume it is a long exposure shot.
