A zen morning on the falls in Jackson, NH

“Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.” – T.S. Eliot

As I am still in a state of merging myself back into what we like to call “the real world”. I wonder why we Americans (as I have discussed with several Europeans) have pigeon holed ourselves into thinking that a 2 week vacation is all you need. Silly isn’t it? I personally have never agreed with it but allowed myself to fall into this trap over the past few years. How I went from back packing Europe every summer (the last trip being close to 3 months), to a quick 2 week break this year is still a mystery to me. I need to get that “time to me” focus back on.

Anyway, lots to say……little time to say it. I just got back trekking about the New England area with WAY too much camera gear and have a lot of catching up to do. Not the best weather, but I certainly embraced the challenge for photography. I’ll be posting a few images and videos over the next few weeks interspersed with my usual flashbacks to previous trips, events, and things I like.

For now….its off to put together a trampoline! I know, this should be good. It says “no tools required.” Goal of the day is of course not to be a case study in backyard accidents.

More on ALL of this later…..
