Arrival of first light in Rockport, Mass

So I was thinking a bit about what drives us around here. Posting images and creations online in forums like flickr, blogs, facebook and the like as a pure expression of the art. It really is truly amazing that there is so much talent out there in the world. For the most part, I guess we all need that connection perhaps. I mean, who doesn’t want their art to be enjoyed out there. Be it the visual artist, the artist of the spoken word, the dancer, the musician, or even the real estate artist,…… our passion for the art drives us, but perhaps that connection with the viewer is possibly what motivates us?

So anyway, I was pretty excited to see a few of my images used by a group that I get a lot of knowledge, inspiration, and motivation from. In addition to my carreer as a lighting designer and event lighting company President at HyLite, I spend a bit of my time investing in Real Estate. As, I have a ways to go to reach my goals, I continue to educate myself in this ever changing field through a variety of avenues. My local REI (Real Estate Investing) organization is one of those places. Great knowledge coupled with networking and inspirational speakers keeps me focused while reminding me to enjoy the journey. Anyway, I wanted to share a few links here on the blog from tonights meeting….

Also, the speaker for tonights meeting was none other than Frank McKinney. We is better known as the rock star real estate daredevil here in South Florida and always very entertaining and motivating to watch. He is best known for his incredible ocean front spec mansions, Caring House project in Haiti, Badwater marathon foot race completion, and creation of the largest ever Green certified oceanfront mansion called Aqualiana. So anyway, I know I have been a bit slow on the posts lately as the events have kept me hopping lately. Well, not really hopping as in like a rabbit, but ……. ahh, never mind.
