i’ve never given much thought to the east coast sunrise vs. west coast sunset thing. interesting. this is exactly the sort of thing that could start some east coast/west coast photographer battle. man that could get ugly.

Very nice! I live on the west coast and have taken sunsets for granted never thinking that if I lived on the east coast the only thing like it would be at the ungodly hour. Beautiful work and enlightening comment!

Yeah, I know it’s tougher to get out there for a sunrise shoot. But, it’s not just that. Look at all the great rock formations, sea stacks, etc., they have on the West coast. Except at Blowing Rocks Preserve and Washington Oaks SP, we don’t have stuff like that.
