For some reason, I have always felt kinda weird taking pictures in these cathedrals. Kinda like I am not supposed to be enjoying the beauty of the space, but focusing on prayer and being quiet. I guess it might have something to do with my early years of catholic schooling. While half waiting for a tap on my shoulders to see what I was doing, I kept this in mind as I wandered about this beautiful cathedral with the tripod while firing off multiple exposures. I did have fun looking for unconventional angles to capture. I must admit though, even the camera shutter was uncomfortably loud!

Just a side note to the reluctance to take pictures in cathedrals…I know this one…intimately. It’s an Episcopal Church. You…and everyone…are always welcome…even to take fabulous pictures like this one!! I think even THEY would love to have a copy of this shot:)
