If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea. – Antoine de Saint-Exupery
So I caught a pretty cool little tutorial from a guy named Gavin. He is a photoshop and photography trainer from the UK and runs a site called GavTrain. Easy name to remember! His short Youtube sessions are quite diverse and worth a peek. I kinda liked his latest one he painted a new vision (no pun intended) as to how to get a “painterly look” to your images. I messed around with it a bit, tried the technique on a few older images of mine, created a few steps of my own, saved some of the steps as a photoshop action for the future, and of course…had alot of fun. Actually, the process sparked my curiosity to dig a bit deeper into photoshop here in the near future. More posts from these experiments soon I am sure.
If your interested by the way, check out this link to his video here! www.youtube.com/watch?v=0GKipkUSimg

Cool…..it does look like a painting!
This is sensational!
Thanks alot! Still playing around with this process 🙂
