“To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted.” -Bill Bryson
Nothing balances out being cooped up in a dark ballroom for 8 hours for 4 straight days furthering your education than getting out and exploring the landscape of a city. I did just that when I was out in San Diego a few month ago on a training seminar and I intend to do the same starting tomorrow. This time, I’ll be in Dallas for a long weekend. Not sure what I’ll find whilst in pursuit of the image, but I am sure I will find out soon. For now, its off to bed….yikes, alarm in 4 hours!

Surreal !!!!!!!!

Hey Mike,
I’m headed out to California tomorrow, or I’d show you around personally. You can look at my stream for a few Dallas ideas. Also check out: Deep Ellum and Thanksgiving Square. Keep you wits about you when your on the East or South side of Downtown! Some characters can be shady! Hope you have fun, and I can’t wait to see what you capture.
Also, Ft. Worth is about 30 minutes away. You can also see cool photos from there on my stream. I think I’ve geotagged several of them.
That is a great shot. I like the clouds & reflection///
