“I can never stand still. I must explore and experiment. I am never satisfied with my work. I resent the limitations of my own imagination.” – Walt Disney
A classic location for that classic night time Disney shot. (and I’m glad I got this one) Thats about all I that my little 10 year old allowed me to stop for! You know how it is. In the world of the mouse….it’s not about anything but making memories. Although, this place is full of all kind of places to set up the ole’ sticks and bracket a few shots for HDR processing later in post, try telling that to a child whose mission has nothing at all to do with the art of image. Good times though…..I convinced her to try out test track with me. Hahaha….should have seen that face after the ride…..classic!
I may have one or two more I’ll get to some day, but no worries. I seem to get up to this area a few times a year so I’m sure there will be more HDR goodies from the house of mouse…..
Music. For me, it goes hand in hand with the art. So often out in the world in search of the perfect landscape, the ipod keeps me company. Kind of creates the cinematic experience if you let it.
I know that a few of my creative friends out there usually share this love for music as well, so I figured I’d share a few video links I found today from a really cool guitarist I have been following for some time. I have long given up on an early dream of mine to play professionally as I was quite the hack, but I still love to follow a few of what I consider to be some of the greats.
Enter, ladies and gentleman, Mr. Eric Johnson!
The first 3 videos are a little behind the scenes in his studio for his latest creation. A real genius with an incredible tone. The last video is an oldie but goodie, but still kicks!
I know that music is an incredibly personal and individual choice, but I thought a few out there might like his sound. I also like hearing the what the genius behind the art has to say.
