Creating exciting painterly effects with @TopazLabs

“Everything that’s created comes out of silence. Your thoughts emerge from the nothingness of silence. Your words come out of this void. Your very essence emerged from emptiness. All creativity requires some stillness.” – Wayne Dyer

The older I get, the more I realize that at our core….we are all creative. Born to fabricate, construct, and actualize our individual lives while individiually painting our own unique canvas around us. Funny how modern society has a way of beating that creativity out of us though. I think that although we all have that creative foundation within us, it becomes our greatest mission, if we choose to embrace the challenge, to feed and water that seed. To grow as creative beings. To embrace and nurture that gift. And in turn, to share and release those gifts.

Then again, I might actually have no idea what I am talking about….

Aaaanyway…..

I enhanced this one above with a few tools from our friends over at Topaz! Having never really taken paint to canvas (not that much at least), its quite fun to try it in the digital darkroom. They have some amazing plugins to play with over there! Worth exploring for a while or at least book marking for a deeper dive later 🙂

For reference, I have excluded the source file below. A 5 stop bracket I captured up in Amelia Island Florida that I was never quite happy with. With a few magic touches in Topaz, I created a version that I kinda like 🙂

As always, more to come tomorrow 🙂
