Deep in the Forest – Acadia National Park in Maine

“Wilderness is not a luxury but a necessity of the human spirit” – Edward Abbey

Well, I guess we all survived the rapture…..now its time for me to survive the red eye flight I’m about to board. Middle seat too 🙁

Having just finished up lighting a 3 day event in California, followed up with a quick tour of the coast North of Santa Barbara, I have quite a few images to work on and share over the next few weeks. As you know, I like to randomly sprinkle them as apposed to a full out media dump. Not sure how stupid that sounded….but I’m going with it…falling forward so to speak. (guess its the dilirious state I’m in after putting about 2,500 miles on the rental car. $ 4.30 a gallon out here by the way….yikes!)

Anyway, hope you liked the video I posted yesterday. If not, too bad, cause more are on the way 🙂
I had fun recording a few along the way. Some informational, some inspitational, and some are not really worth the memory that they are stored on!

I’ll get around to posting them from time to time soon.

And on yeah….enjoy the image here from Maine.

Now, time to get ready for that middle seat……

Hi Mike, First of all, I just watched your video you posted of developing the previous image and absolutely loved it! It was fascinating for me to see you in action while developing your work and can’t wait to see your next videos. I think it’s a real treat sharing your workflow with everyone.

This image is similarly excellent. It was great you mentioned in your video about not being able to see where the path leads for I definitely do get a sense of mystery like ‘whats beyond the horizon?’ from your pictures. This is such a great scene you picked here and the blurred water is stunning. Hope your feet didn’t get too wet! 🙂ReplyCancel
