Details in the Harbor – Fishing boat in Santa Barbara

My mission was simple on this cool, cloudy, and colorful California day…..to immerse myself. I had gathered all the details about the site we were working at the following month and it was time to bumble about and see what I could find. I knew that this little port area would be a cool place for some grungy HDR images so the search began. I truly have no idea what that orangish piece of rusty steel is, but I liked the color contrast it gives the image.

Not exactly a stellar image OR story, but its all I got tonight.

One more quick thing…

Speaking about being on point, on a mission, or following your true calling. Now first off, I realize this has nothing at all to do with my photo blog, but I felt like sharing anyway. I have been following Dan McDonald for a while now. He consistently pours his passion for sharing his knowledge about eating more fruits and veggies in his regular youtube videos, and this one is no exception. He is on a trek across the country on a bike and its been fun to follow. Check it out. I think you might find this dude pretty entertaining.
