From the room in Dublin – The dark colors of the evening sky

Has of course nothing at all to do with the image…but he was Irish, so I guess it works….

I always ask for a room high up and with a window and a good view when I check in. Well, most all rooms actually have a window, but you get the picture. While in Ireland this summer, my only real purpose for staying in Dublin was to home base myself for the Oxegen Festival. Located just outside of the city, it is one of the best festivals to see in Europe during the summer. I have always liked these incredible European Music Festivals! This one had a pretty cool and diverse line up with Coldplay headlining the final night.

The view just outside of my room here is actually where the busses lined up for the 30 minute or so trek out to the festival site. I shot a few timelapses from this spot that I hope to share soon!
