Somehow, not only for Christmas, But all the long year through, the joy that you give to others, is the joy that comes back to you. And the more you spend in blessing, the poor and lonely and sad, the more of your heart’s possessing, returns to you glad. – John Greenleaf Whittier
WOW, seems like I have taken a bit of a blog post break here again. I made a decision early in the holiday season not to get caught up in the hustle and bustle, and it appears I also put my art on the back burner too!
At the beginning of the week, I took a little trek up to Orlando with my sunshine girl to explore a bit of the wonder of the House of Mouse. Its been a while since I had a chance to see the creative and magical touch of Mickey and the gang during Christmas time. Here on the back lot of Hollywood Studios, I took a few moments to get away from the crowd for a unique perspective of the annual Osmond Family lighting display. I hadn’t really expected to be able to capture the ambiance as the place was packed with people, until I found this out of the way nook. (Gotta love those nooks huh?) As I perched down to capture a few frames, it seems like my little girl appreciated our quite little place as well. As she danced about the empty sidewalk to the beautiful music, without a care in the world, I was again reminded of how precious life is. Love, peace, and happiness…..
Merry Christmas everyone!
