Instagram grids and why I keep them tidy!

“Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.” – Thomas Merton

So I mentioned a couple of days ago that there are a few places that I spread my images (and sometimes art) around here now a-days. I guess we all do for the most part. One place I stay a bit more “image” focussed is of course Instagram (make sure and follow here!). As all platforms, the way I share changes with time. The story feature allows me to share brief bursts of video and clips from the day without intense editing like I do with my YouTube channel. The image sharing feature allows for a deeper dive into the still capture with options (as I am sure you know) to tag in various ways for further outreach.

One of the ways my grid has evolved is that of the more organized and color focused grid layout. Ill share a couple screenshots of these below, but the inspiration for this was from a video and challenge that Peter McKinnon posted a while back and after that suggestion, I have kept up the “look” while posting 3 images every time I post to keep the 3 wide grid consistent with its look. I know, a bit neurotic, but just giving you a little background. Its actually quite fun and after you post a few images, its fun to scroll back at our work. Like I said, images below, with a little bit about each “grid”. I’m sure I’ll break the routine someday, but until then, its still a bit “tidy” you might say 🙂

Lot’s more art to share and of course, more to come!
