Just before doors is that time we refer to in the business as the quiet time before the guests arrive. If all goes well in the planning, this is a peaceful time. There is an energy in the room that I find quite intoxicating. In a few moments, the place will be packed with a crowd ready to enjoy the environment we helped to create! I have always treasured this feeling.
The night was a total success and a blast to run. Eric and I rocked the house at the lighting console and had a great time. I hope to process and display a few images this week from the event.
Happy New Years everyone!

nicely composed
really beautiful!
You know, looking towards retirement in about 6 years, what you do sounds like something I would rather enjoy. I dunno, I’ve always been intrigued by environments, both indoor and outdoor, which others create. Pretty amazing when you start to think about what the human mind finds attractive- places like the Universal City Walk in LA and Epcot at Night. Sounds like you truly have a blast doing your job….I can’t wait for something like that!
