Life in Death Valley (and a quick update)

Wow, looks like its been over a month since my last update. Not exactly the best practice for what started out as a DAILY photo blog.

Let get this back on track shall we?

A little bit about todays pic…..

Not entirely sure why I thought that mid September would be a good time to drive through what can only be referred to the hottest and most desolate place in the country, but there I was. Lots to explore there I am sure, but that air-conditioned car seemed to win the tug for my time for most of the day. I did happen to sneak out of my little traveling oasis a few times to capture what I could though, but I am sure I will make it back someday. Of course, a little closer to winter might be a better idea next time 🙂
