Lighthouse at Key Biscayne

Upon arrival to this location, on a Sunday mind you, I was a little disappointed by the crowds of people. What should I expect on a Sunday…..right? Looking for a clear shot became a recurring disappointment, except for on my way out. As I looked over my shoulder at the canopy of palms, I decided to stop. I held the camera to my eye, tilted up, and bingo….no people!

man ive had that same problem before. this one time a lady literally walked right on front of my camera and just stood there. i mean, if i saw someone with a cool looking camera on a tripod i would figure that they are a little bit serious haha.

    great shot mike!ReplyCancel

Cooool… I’ll have my XT converted for IR as soon as I get a 3rd body (ha, ha… like that’s gonna happen anytime soon).

But yeah, people can be a pain… love it when during a long exposure (or any exposure for that matter) they cross right in front of you and your tripod and stop in front of the lens, right there, like they can’t walk or stand behind you… arrgh!ReplyCancel

Mike, this is outstanding! I’ve never explored this type of photography before; is it something that can be done with filters or is it necessary to have a c overted camera body? Pretty cool perspective here!ReplyCancel
