Lights, cable, and heavy stuff – Lighting plans for Market America underway

It all starts with a vision. A dream, an inspiration, a collection of thoughts……then a rendering. It still amazes me that it all comes together. Once the brainstorming is done, for a project of this size, the rendering is the initial roadmap. The advance team does such a good job at estimating the exact 3d virtual view that its hard to actually tell the difference between the rendering and the final image of the scene in the arena!

In what then seems like a blur, about 24 hours after the trucks are unloaded, we are completely ready for the opening day. (at least that’s the plan!)

As the various departments are hard at work prepping systems for our load in just 7 short days away, I decided to post a few shots from last summers event in Greensboro. Miami’s set should look pretty close to this as well.
