London Skys at the Harbor

On another episode of “Bumbling thru Europe”, I found myself in yet another area of London that I didn’t even know existed. Cool how that happens! Sometimes it’s best to just toss the map in the backpack and wander about. I was quite happy to see the colorful sky appear as the norm in London is usually this kind of gray and milky white mess (at least when I’m there it seems!)

I was listening and inspired to work on this image while listening to a little Jamie Cullum tonight. I’ve been a big fan of his art for a couple of years now. I couldn’t find a good version of the song “London Skys” but found this one instead. Kinda fits the ole boat theme. Funny thing too. It was taken from a small little session he played at a small club the night after this was taken. I actually tried to get in but it was sold out. Better luck next time I guess 🙂
