Looking for life….in Death Valley

There are always things I realize I could have done and should have done differently after completing a trip. For example, driving over 3000 miles with the rental car in 8 days whilst trying to photograph 6 National Parks. Yeah…that was a bit much…..

Not sure if I actually came to a complete stop when I captured this one to be honest with you 🙂

I will give you one tip though. If even considering a stop or a trip through Death Valley, line up the hotel WAY in advance. Not much to choose from out there and in retrospect, I wish I had the chance to enjoy that deep dark sky that I am sure was there this particular night. As there was no room at the Inn, I had no choice but to keep driving and bed down in Nevada. Again, live and learn.
