Market America 2011 – And then there was light ….. (plus a pretty cool timelapse!)

Well, another Market America event is in the can…or shall I say, back in the shop. Seems like I was just putting the ideas on paper. Actually, I just was…..about 3 weeks ago on a train in Europe. My small portion of these events is the lighting. As you can see above, it can make a HUGE difference.

And, about those scribbled little ideas I was talking about, here are a few from the notebook. I actually took pictures of these and texted them to the producer for feedback. Kinda low and high tech all at the same time!

Wow, it all seems like a blur now though. From napkin sketches to cad drawings,conference calls, shop prep, load-in and setup, show programming, load-out, and now…reflecting back on a job well done. All part of the mad world of special events. Speaking of a blur, check out the time-lapse I created and posted on my youtube channel here! I had ALOT of fun with this one 🙂
