Night-time color in Singapore (and a bit about travel)

I’ve often wondered what might happen in this world if more people took the time to travel. Imagine a world where the financial and natural resource limitational barriers were non existent and the average person were free to travel at will. To explore, to learn first hand, and to experience how the rest of the world lives. Would the average “ignorant arm chair American world critique” take that opportunity to perhaps see the rest of the world that he sees as a threat. How about those in the world that see us Americans as the enemy? Dunno….. just food for thought. What do you think?

Had I not had the opportunity to work on lighting an event in Singapore last year, I might never have gotten a chance to experience this wonderful place first hand. I didn’t really know the first thing about this small little nation-state in the orient, but walked away with a feeling of awe. Singapore is the perfect example of not only how clean a large city CAN be, but how safe a large city SHOULD be. For me…a paradise for late night photography.
