Out the window of the Mandarin Hotel – a view in Brickel Key

“I often think that the night is more alive and more richly colored than the day.”  – Vincent Van Gogh

My journey in photography has helped to teach me not only to appreciate what is visible right in front of me, but what is also, not visible. By the time I was able to finally venture out onto the balcony here in Miami, the scene was quite dark. Really dark. Not really knowing if there it would work, I decided to capture a few brackets anyway. Guess its amazing what that camera can see when you keep the shutter open long enough!
