Outside of Denver – calm on the lake

I guess you could call me a lazy photographer at times. Not sure how else you could describe one who attempts landscape photography by showing up WELL past the peak hours of sunrise to attempt to capture the wonderful light. Yeah, I usually fall back on the HDR process to fight the mid day contrast. The post processing I do is sometimes a last ditch effort to drive some color back into what can be a very disappointing click. In this case, I played around a bit while envisioning myself hanging out lakeside with the canvas and oils like that crazy painter that used to be on Sunday afternoons. Remember that guy? There’s a happy cloud, now, lets paint in a few little happy trees…

Yeah, its time to turn in…..getting late in case ya can’t tell….LOL.
