“A good traveler has no fixed plans, and is not intent on arriving.” – Lao Tzu
I had a plan for the day. A loose one, …..more of a general idea actually.
Sometimes I like having those loose plans as they give space for diversions. This one was a U-turn to be exact.
As I raced towards a small town in Pennsylvania to begin my quick day trip down memory lane, I saw the sign for McConnels Mill out of the corner of my eye. You know the kind. Those brown signs with white lettering….the ones that imply “this might be a cool place to photograph!”?
Mike, what kind of punctuation was that?!
Anyway, I remember hearing the name before, but was’t sure what it was. Having spent the first decade and a half of my life up near there, I can’t actually remember ever seeing this cool little place. And who knew that Pennsylvania had a covered bridge?
Glad I stopped 🙂
(and sorry to the guy I almost hit during that last minute U-turn!)
