“In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary.” – Aaron Rose
One of my first attempts at “painting with light” out in the wilderness of Arches National Park in Utah produced quite a variety of results. Some good, some not so much. This one is kind of in between.
One of the things I love about the process is each take is unique. To set the stage, the canvas is dark. A 30 second or so shutter speed that without the use of external light would produce a totally black image. That light in this case, a bad ass flashlight!
I realized now that even though it was getting cold (and I started hearing some REALLY strange animal sounds nearby), I should have stayed a while longer.
Next time….
So my usual post on Sunday nights has me sharing a little bit about an amazing artist or creative that I find worth following.
As today in Mothers Day, I can think of no more important of an artist to recognize than that of the amazing Mom!
Happy Mothers Day Mom!!!
