“The landscape belongs to the person who looks at it.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
There can be at times, if you let it overcome you, a somewhat cinematic feel to the landscape as it unfolds itself in front of you. When I find myself out on these journeys on a mission to “capture the light” and bring it home, I can sometimes get a little disappointed when the lighting is not so perfect. Its funny though, when I put in the earbuds and hit play on the right list, the addition of a musical track gives me a kind of heightened awareness to every detail that is around me. Its with that in mind that I attempt to replay that feeling as I work on my images in the comfort of my home. Its amazing where music can take you! Take for example, this clip below. I have been following this guys work ever since I saw a talk he did on Ted. A true creative and conductor of artistry in motion. Take note of what the music does to this piece!
