“The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page.” – St. Augustine
I’ve often wondered whether I would have been happy being a travel photographer. From what I hear, its a pretty tough road to travel as an artist, at least financially that is. Money aside….for the sheer love of the earth and all I hope to see in my life, the question still lingers in my mind. My vacation plans always seem to turn into self imposed missions of madness…..in pursuit of the capture and in search of the light. Of course, by light….I mean so much more than the element needed for any successful exposure. The journey, which is actually more fulfilling than just arriving at the destination, has always been that place for me to reflect and regroup…..and a special place for my own search for internal light. Coulda used a bit more SUN light on this particular day in Brazil, but that another story altogether!
Incidentally, sorry I haven’t posted in a while. Macbook Pro laptop was in for a bit of a tune up. Thats where I kinda live in this little play land of images and blog posts. (its a nice away from the work computer here at my home studio).
I tell ya, Apple is a class act. Replaced the mother board and had it back within 3 days! That tired desktop PC and all its startup windows of driver incapability, file damage, and countless other error notifications is really getting kind of old by now. Just may be time to make the total Apple switch soon 🙂
More as always…..soon
