“Language… has created the word “loneliness” to express the pain of being alone. And it has created the word “solitude” to express the glory of being alone.” – Paul Johannes Tillich, The Eternal Now
Throughout the years of my experimentation with this art of photography, I have learned one thing. Well, a few things….but one that stands out. Unless you are into the sport of the capture, it can be a real drag hanging out with a photographer during the “blue hour.” We tend to wander about in a trance like state attempting to grab every angle of the scene before that special light disappears into the night. Lucky for me, I was able to explore this Capitol of Texas with a fellow photog that knew the area and was equally interested in the art of the moment. I was a little disappointed that the sky was clear that night, but now that I look at this scene, I think the simplicity of the sky actually helps the scene.
Thanks for the company Cliff.
Here is a link to his work as well! Cliff Baise
