” The Beauty of the Mountain is hidden for all those who try to discover it from the top, supposing that, one way or an other, one can reach this place directly. The Beauty of the Mountain reveals only to those who climbed it…” – Antoine de Saint-Exupery
I of course, took full advantage of the efficient Swiss Rail system to whisk me up to this grand view. I seem to do a bit better that way. I can hike DOWN the mountain with the best of them, but its the uphill trek that needs a little work!
I think the next time I am exploring this region, I am going to hang out a little longer and capture a bit more of the time lapse action. I took a few clips further down the path while I overlooked the Matterhorn as you can see from this post HERE, but I think I missed a great opportunity at this spot too don’t ya think?
Incidentally, I get alot of emails about my workflow and processing techniques. I love getting feedback by the way, so thanks for all of you who have reached out! I am working on a few projects that I will share in the future, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, if you would like to know what software I use on a regular basis, check out the Photomatix site at www.HDRsoft.com. I have been a faithful user for over 4 years now and the fine folks there have enabled a discount for my followers that want to purchase the program. They have a trial version that is absolutely free, so check it out. If you choose to buy, try the coupon code “MDSimages” for a nice discount!
I’ll follow up with a few tips and tricks soon, so stay tuned 🙂
