Tower Bridge…..a different perspective

“All true artists, whether they know it or not, create from a place of no-mind, from inner stillness.” – Eckhart Tolle

A tough place to get to perhaps in this fast paced world, but I guess thats part of the journey of the creative right?

I love searching for these quotes by the way. I often begin the search with a particular angle or subject based on the image, but often get caught in a deep little rabbit hole. If I’m lucky though, I retreat before I fall in too deep with a little nugget of wisdom to share with ya!

I was lucky to catch London the day I arrived as it enjoyed a break from its typical gray sky. I had been experiencing about a month of these somewhat uninteresting skys in Florida, so this was certainly a nice change for me. Now, for a fresh perspective on a familiar sight. Not sure if the gate I found was supposed to be unlocked, but the steps on the other side led me to this spot on the bank of the Thames. Perfect…not a tourist in sight!

One more little morsel of goodness here before ya leave…..

First off, I’ve taken a little leave here lately again as I am traveling around a bit in California. I’ve got a few great images to share as well as some videos from the field that I hope to share. In addition to that, I am attending a cool conference here as part of my continuing education. So much to see… much to learn… much to share 🙂

That being said, I’d like to share a video with ya from one of my long time mentors. Trey Ratcliff from Stuck in Customs has perhaps single handedly been the driving force in my mid life journey back into photography, art, and travel. If your into this sort of thing you HAVE TO check out his work. In typical Trey fashion, his unique perspective is shared here in a cab ride from a recent trip in China.
