Towering Redwoods in Muir Woods

Although I am not really happy with this image, I decided to post it anyway. Taken at Muir woods outside of San Francisco. Any lighting that happens to reach the forest ground is lucky to get by these amazing and majestic redwoods.

    It is a nice shot, and the perspective is interesting.
    I find it challenging to photograph in the woods on a sunny day… the light areas tend to be blown-out and the tree trunks too dark. You’ve got a good balance of the light/dark areas here.ReplyCancel
