“I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
Wow, that was a big break! For the better part of 2 years or so, seems like I have religiously posted almost every day. I must admit, the little break was kinda nice though.
It all started when I arrived at the DLWS photo workshop I was attending in New Hampshire. More on that soon, but I like to refer to it as a photography boot-camp! Early sunrise shoots, processing and educational sessions during the day, and sunset shoots in the evening. Not much time for anything else but a total immersion into the craft. That would normally not stop me, but the cel and internet service rivaled that of a hut in a rural third world country. I gave up after a few futile attempts at an upload and decided to stay in contact with a few random face-book iphone uploads now and then. The break kinda stuck with me for the rest of the trip!
Well, its time to pack up and head down the coast to Boston for an early flight out in the AM. Lots more images to come over the next few weeks from this awesome trip.
As always, thanks for stopping by!
Perfect image Mike! Great composition, color, and post. Another favorite!
Looking forward for those ‘next few weeks’
That’s a great quote. Your pictures are just the coolest! This is particularly peaceful but the one of the pit is the bomb! Love your take on monuments.
excellent shot and capture…
Another brilliant visual Mike.
This one makes me think….
It’s amazing how unnatural a manmade object looks in nature. There must be a reason for that. Perhaps it’s our utter lack of appreciation of the world around us, or perhaps we just don’t care to coincide with what we don’t understand.
Great photograph, I like the processing
Excellent work & find! I love the fall colors!
