Waiting for the train

Well, I have decided that its “rescue an image” week. Well, at least for the next 7 days. I have a little pool of images that I blog with that are on my macbook pro, but its in for repair. So, for the next few days, I’m gonna dig, dig deep, on my external drive with the desktop and see what I can do with some older captures. This was a black and white that I captured in a train station in LeHavre, France. I obviously painted a little texture in there. This image says two things to me. First, I guess I am looking forward to my next experience on the road. Second, I guess I am feeling a little down today. Its not any one thing, but a bunch of things all at once. I guess always get that way in the later summer and the slowest part of the season. Have a great weekend 🙂

Typical French railway, very humble and run with old locos, you get what you see in France no whistles and bells. this shot suits the scene perfectly. love the solitary personReplyCancel

Gorgeous shot and fantastic processing. Love the mood. Although, I am sorry to hear you are feeling a bit down. Hope you got something to eat in the meantime, so at least you aren’t hungry anymore (yes, I do read the tags). 🙂ReplyCancel

i do read the tags, and the description, and the title. i believe they all add another layer of dimension to the image. while it is true that a picture is worth a thousand words, sometimes when put in context (through tags and descriptions) you get to appreciate its beauty even more.

this is an amazing capture. quite compelling, actually and your processing is impeccable. it’s ok to feel down once in a while. but i hope you won’t let the blues inhabit your world for too long.ReplyCancel
