“What good is the warmth of summer, without the cold of winter to give it sweetness.” – John Steinbeck
So I understand this a little bit of snow happening up North here in the US. Seems like every other beep notification is from a family member or friend keeping my up to date with the crazy weather up there. And when did they start naming winter storms? What constitutes the need for a name? Keeps those graphics guys busy though I guess 🙂
I figured I would share this little scene with you folks that are hunkering down for the “Arctic Freeze” as they now like to refer to these things as. Down here in South Florida, outside of a quick cold snap for 2 days, it looks like the weather will be shooting up there again into the 80’s by weeks end. I’m sure the jet skis will be gassed and ready to go!
If you’re looking to escape, I took this shot at this place here. A nice quiet place to enjoy the warmth on the North end of Captiva Island on the West Coast of Florida. From New England, Ohio, Michigan, or New York, this must look pretty sweet about right now!
Stay safe…I’ll save a jetski for ya…
