“Keep close to Nature’s heart… and break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.” – John Muir
While slipping and sliding over the river rocks here in Acadia, my biggest concern was keeping the raindrops off of the bulbus 14-24 Nikon wide angle lens. My boots were already soaked to the core, I was tired and hungry, the light was all but non existent, but the scenery kept calling me. I knew that if I made enough brackets, I could eventually pull out the detail and color in the scene in post.
