Waterfall along the waterfront – Chicago

I have no great quote or story for this one….just a deviation from the norm. I tortured this one a bit in post as it started as a typical HDR that I just couldn’t get a vibe going with the color. (By the way, I have NO idea what that’s supposed to mean.) I was about to give up on it for a while until I popped it into Nik’s Color eFX and ironically, decided to give it a black and white treatment. I think it might be what it needed all along.

And have you seen this video yet? Kinda cool. I was listening to it as I was blogging about this shot tonight and thought I would share it. I know that musical tastes are quite diverse, but its Coldplay. Who doesn’t like them right? I’ve had this song in my head ever I since I saw them in Ireland a couple of weeks ago. In fact, it was in my head as I was bumbling on about a really cool timelapse app I have been using called Reel Moments for the iphone. I talk about it here on this link>>>>>: YouTube Clip
