Why make art?

“Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.” – Andy Warhol

Sometimes I wonder what drives the artist. Why do we continue and strive to make things, create more, and share it all. Then I stop and say why ask why. Just keep creating!

I saw another great quote at the end of a post by Colin Wright on his Exile Lifestyle blog last night that said…

A philosophy unlived is doomed to remain mere theory: as useless to its owner as a book never read or food never eaten.

Think. Do. Learn. Share. And grow.

Guess that sums it up!

The Daily Image – Deep Sky Over a Cathedral in Dublin
