Yet, another unfinished job – remains along the coast of Ireland

As I slowly traversed the rich and colorful countryside roads in Ireland, I couldn’t help but notice the occasional unfinished housing project like the one here. Actually, there were more than a few. I couldn’t help but play little mind games about what had possibly happened to them. Were they once fully functional farm houses that today keep shattered memories of the families that enjoyed its shelter deep within the stones that are left standing? Were they perhaps housing or storage projects that were abandoned during the harsh seasonal weather changes that blanket this unique landscape? Or better yet, were they projects that are still in the works that are loosing the battle of the distraction created by the many pubs that fill this country? Actually, might be a great question to ask the next time I get over there….over a pint of lager or Guiness of course!
